7 months!

Nearly 7mths old, lots has been happening this month! I have rolled over for the first time ever, and I also said "dadda" several times. Mummy and daddy were delighted.

Mummy and me visit Phoebe and Aidan regularly, and Aidan is nearly as big as me now!

I've started eating some solid food this month! Here's some pics of me enjoying some sweet potato and some banana. I'm only just getting the hang of it and it's lots of fun.

6 months old!

I'm having a great time this month and I'm nearly 6 months old! Mummy has arms of steel from carrying me around. This month I'm getting really good at sitting up, and I love making a gurgling sound when I'm lying on my back. I'm also getting better at tummy time. Here's me in a few pics. The first one is me at the park with mummy while she does her exercises. I'm wearing a jacket from Granny and an all-in-one from Aunty Emma. The next one is me in the stroller wearing a jacket from uncle Ray. And the last one is me at mother's group with mummy.

5 months old

Here are some pics of me just hanging out around the house. I like to keep busy so mummy and daddy are always finding new things for me to do.

Mummy's First Mother's Day

Mummy had her first mother's day on Sunday 13th May and daddy and me really spoiled her. We gave her a card written by "me", and a voucher for a treatment at her favourite beauty salon. Mummy looked really happy and she gave me lots of kisses and cuddles.

Mothers group and 4 month jabs

Mummy and me returned to mother's group yesterday and it was great seeing all the other mummies and babies. We are all growing up so fast. Some of the other babies are rolling over and some are holding their upper body up on their tummy. I am the biggest baby and I am sitting up really well, nearly on my own. I enjoyed chatting with the other babies.

Here's me and the other babies on the blanket where we sat in the park. The little girl to my right is named Chloe and she accidentally pulled and twisted my ear, which didn't bother me and amused my mummy and her mummy no end. After mothers group yesterday we went to the doctor and I had my 4 month jabs. I really didn't like this and I cried a lot, but mummy cuddled me and I felt better. Later on I had a bit of a fever and mummy looked after me again. The doctor weighed me and I weigh 9kgs, which she said is normal. She measured my head and it is 48cm in circumference, which she said is "off the scales", so she is going to check it again next month. We suspect though that it is just hereditary as daddy has a big head too.

I was feeling a lot better so I got some work done! Then I went to bed early. Daddy has been on night shift this week so he is very tired. But today he is off work because I have an appointment with my specialist about my thyroid and daddy has his citizenship ceremony after that. We'll post some pics of it soon!
