Hunter Valley

We had a great time in the Hunter Valley last week. Me, mummy and daddy went with Grandma, Granny and Grandad and we stayed in a funny cottage. We played golf and tennis and there was a pet emu there!! Here are some pics of us playing golf. Here's Grandad...

Botanical Gardens

Yesterday I went with mummy, daddy, granny, grandad and grandma to the Botanical Gardens. We met Granny's friends Bob, Vanda, Charlie, Andy, Mark and Vicky, and we walked around the gardens. Bob gave me a lovely Easter bunny and some bath toys. Here's a pic of me with my bunny!

Long walk in Balmain

After Rachel's birthday lunch mummy, daddy, grandma, granny and grandad went for a long walk to Balmain. For some reason we kept stopping at pubs along the way. Mummy and daddy called it a pub crawl. I slept a lot of the time, but below are some pics! Then we got the ferry back to the city and we went under the Harbour Bridge!

Aunty Rachel's birthday

Yesterday we all went for lunch in Rozelle for Aunty Rachel's birthday. It was good fun and I got lots of cuddles. Here's a pic of me with Aunty Rach and Todd, and one of me with grandad. There's also one of me sucking on my elephant's trunk!

Our trip to Manly

On Friday we all went to Manly on the ferry. Granny and grandad really enjoyed going on the harbour, and I enjoyed being on the big boat. Here's a pic of me with Granny in Manly and another one of me at home sucking on Tigger's ear.

My new mobile!

Yesterday mummy and me went to Newtown. We were going to see Phoebe and her new baby in the hospital but then we couldn't go cos Phoebe was sick. Before we found this out Mummy and me went shopping for a present for the new baby and for a present for Aunty Rachel, cos its her birthday tomorrow. After that we sat in the park while mummy ate her lunch and I laid on a wrap on the grass and looked at the trees swaying in the breeze. While we were at the shops mummy bought me a mobile, here's a pic of me with it. I'm in the portacot until mummy and daddy get a new cot cos I've grown out of the cradle and my arms and legs go through the sides! And last night, I slept through the night for the first time! Mummy and daddy were very proud!

New things I can do

The last few days I've learnt some fab new things. I've started holding and shaking a rattle and I've discovered that if I drop it or throw it mummy picks it up each time! I've also discovered the joys of sticking my tongue out and blowing bubbles, below is a pic of me practicing this new skill.

Today mummy and I went visit my friend Charlie and his mum Jade. Here's a pic of us together!

2nd day in Byron

The next day I had my first ever swim! It was in the pool where we were staying, and here are some pics of me with mummy and daddy. Granny, Grandad and Nanu were there too, it was great. In the spa with mummy it was so warm that I got really relaxed and was nearly falling asleep in mummy's arms. Mummy said it reminded her of being in the birthing pool when she was having me. Later in the afternoon, after we said goodbye to Nanu, we went to the Lighthouse. Here's a pic of me with mummy and daddy on the headland, and here I am just chilling at the cafe having a coffee!

At the Lighthouse we saw a Blue Tongue Lizard and mummy caught it so Granny and Grandad could have a close up look! I'll put some pics up of that soon. We had a great time in Byron and then we saw Granny and Grandad off on the coach to Brisbane for the next leg of their holiday. Then daddy, mummy and me drove back to Sydney (via Nanu's place again and stopping off in Port Macquarie). In a few days Granny and Grandad will be back in Sydney and we've got all sorts of fun things planned for them!

First day in Byron

On our first day in Byron we walked along the beach into town but we didn't get any further than the pub! Here's a pic of me with Granny and Grandad in the beer garden, and here's another one of me with daddy and Nanu as well.

Visiting Nanu

On the Monday after Granny and Grandad arrived we all started driving up to Byron together. We stayed overnight at South West Rocks. I'll post those pics later because they are on daddy's phone. Then on Tuesday we drove to Maclean and saw Nanu and Lucille. Above is a pic of me with Nanu and here's one of me with Lucille. Nanu took us for a drive into the bush so Granny and Grandad could see some kangaroos and wallabies, I'll put those pics on later as well.

Welcome Granny and Grandad!

It was so great picking up Granny and Grandad from the airport! I got lots of cuddles!
